Handmade whimsical beaded wire crowns or enchanting wall hangings

A whimsical beaded crown that’s giving me magical dress-up day vibes. However, I do wish everyone was wearing them all the time, everywhere. Well, where I’m from, we do. When you don’t feel like wearing it, they look so beautiful as wall hangings. They are so easy and fun to make, and only require 4 supplies.

Take a look at some more beaded crowns. The customization is quite endless.

Supplies:

  • 24 gauge wire (I prefer using gold-colored wire for this)

  • Scissors

  • Beads (Make sure bead holes are large enough to fit the wire through)

  • Ribbon or fabric strips or yarn

Steps:

Step 1.

Measure your head with the wire and add an extra 10 inches. Cut measured wire.

Step 2.

String on your assorted beads. Once you have the desired amount of beads strung, center the beads by sliding them.

Step 3.

Then loop the ends of the wire on each side through the last bead so the beads can no longer slide.

Step 4.

Measure  crown on your head again, then twist the ends of the wire together. Take each end and twist them along the wire on each side, moving opposite directions from each other.

Step 5.

Tie ribbons where the wire ends were twisted onto the wire (opposite side of the centered beads).

Step 6.

Final touch, crinkle the wire with your fingers, going along the whole wire. This gives the crown an extra whimsical look.

Enjoy your one of a kind beaded crown:)
